deals with hosting companies
Maybe I don't have enough camels in my garage, but I was wondering why hosting companies are so strict about their packages.
I am with ilonhosting.com until now, but every morning for 20 minutes for 2 hours the response time is very slow because they run their cron jobs. Sometimes the server is down for much longer after that. They tell me, ok, you need to have more resources to your server. Finally they come up with an offer that I have to pay twice as much to get over this bottle neck and I need to buy a certain pre-configured package.
I am rather upset about the fact that they try to milk me like a cow. I don't need any more bandwith or disk space, I just want my server to be available 24 hours. That is all. I am not the upscale eskimo that need a fridge!
I tried to negotiate deals with other hosts, but they all say: you can take plan A or B - there is nothing between.
Are all hosts the same???
