I was thinking the same thing when i saw it

i thought hmmmm that doesnt look like a real endorsement, but i thought hey maybe someone paid him enough coin.

I bet you could get a fairly popular washed up actor to be on a sponsor program banner. Like gary coleman would be a funny one .. You could have him growing or something ..
