doesn't sound like a cluster headache (usually around the eye) to me.. To diagnose a cluster headache, there has to be a 'cluster' i.e. a history of several headackes over a week, or at least that's my understanding ;)
the neck kind of stuff sounds a bit like a tension headache..the intensity kind of a bit like a migraine, but didn't say anything about visual symptoms etc, my bet would be on a migraine though. Worst case it's a sub-arachnoid and he won't be waking up. If it doesn't improve and it's an 11/10 headache i.e worst pain u've ever felt u should see a doc asap.
I assume it was just a little bit of blood u threw up btw.. coz otherwise u should see a doc also
