I got a new laptop, and although it has a dvd/cdr drive I still find burning dvds very comftrable.

2. the quality isnt bad at all if you know how to rip

3. I dont have to take a ton of movies with me.
I could just store 15 or so (at 3-5 gigs) on my hardrive.

3. It saves better and allows me to watch more movies.

4. When I go somewhere I dont risk scratching or loosing my original dvds which happens often.
