Excellent interview.
Note that Soros said international law will not necessarily always follow what power has achieved. He didn't say that it doesn't normally follow what power has achieved (It often does and maybe nearly always does).
What does this mean though given that other security council members - the UK, France, and USSR have all gone to war without security council approval? Soros nailed it again. Power. The US is being held to a different standard than other nations by the rest of the world community because of an extreme power gap. Did everyone forget that the UK fought in Iraq too? Anyone care to tell me why the Australians weren't acting unilaterally without UN approval in Iraq? Where are all the "John Howard is Hitler" threads?
