LOL! Or you've never been up close and personal with a bear. They stink and are usually full of fleas and other nasty bugs.
I'm not a big fan of hunting for sport or for trophies, but if you eat what you kill and follow the laws, more power to you.
How is bear jerky? I've had beef, chicken, salmon, deer, buffalo and elk, but never bear. I'd assume the meat was tough like buffalo, is it? So far my favorite is elk.
The guy we bought our jerky from says he's going to get me some more interesting meats. I want to try aligator jerky next.
