You know its funny. contracting in this industry and having a good reputation for reliablility, i have gotten about 50% of my business from people who hired some programmer in like poland or bulgaria and the guy just disapears on them. so they call me cause i dont disapear.
the moral of the story is that you really get what you pay for. my rates are higher than that of somebody over seas, but you get reliability and quality and accountablility for what i've done.
