There was the first 9/11 and that did not take place in New York.
This was in Chile on the 9th November 1973, with the full support of the US and involved deposing the democratically elected government and placing another US puppet in power - Pinochet.
We have to thank the US, once again, for enabling US trained terrorists to crush a democracy which resulted in many thousands more mutilated bodies being found in mass graves and over the countryside. Many more than were ever killed at the Twin Towers.
