I'm not sure where you are coming from Webby but there is a backlash in many parts of the world regarding the American culture if you are not aware of this I suggest you do some research. The Phillipines, Middle East and Europe are all part of the backlash. It's been going on for some time.

It ain't a "culture" as such.. tis just the witnessing by many of US behavior in many countries..
This ranges from political interferance in otherwise democratically elected governments to the "Americanisation" by corporates who bleed the assets out of countries and all profits are removed to the US. It is a culture of greed, bullying and bribing.
No other country behaves as badly as this internationally.. I dunno why, but looks like it comes from ignorance of others on the planet.
And yes, it has been going on for a long time now.
