You are ignorant in the first place?

For instance, take a child who was raised with no true knowledge of religion - or only has knowledge of a twisted form of religion not entirely faithful to the bible ( though has no awareness or true interpretation of the Bible's specific laws ).

Would this child be damned?

How does gOD deal with ignorance? Punish our ancestors? Punish the ignorant?

This has tugged at my mind for a long time; what do you think?
