I believe God is the energy of light and love in the Universe. Our souls are all of a part of and connected to this universal life force.
Therefore God is within each of us and in whole we are God.
We create our own heaven and our own hell by our soul's own actions.
We induce our physical bodies to die when we have completed each soul life cycle of learning and then either reincarnate into another physical being on this earthly type plane for additional learning or continue on to higher energy planes and dimensions.
Like water seeking its own level, the soul operates in the same essence, automatically sensing where it should go next.
Most people's souls are not advanced enough yet to grasp and comprehend much of this however.
