I think it's a little different when people are married and think they're going to be together until death do us part. They don't PLAN on getting a divorce and having to worry about child support. I guess everyone should just have a contingency plan as soon as they pop the question.. just in case

I agree but the point I was trying to make is for some reason people have the assumption that when things don't work out the guy automatically should be the one to pay for everything and then some.
I have my kid 4 days a week and some people have a problem with the fact that I don't pay child support because my income is ten times what my ex makes. Women also have a responsibility, fortunately courts are starting to realize that.
