basically he is in jail for 4 reasons.
1. the current administration wanted to make an example of him because he is famous. The prosecuter in the case even said she was disgusted that he has become rich buy "glorifying drug use"
2. when he was asked in court what people used his water pipes for he said himself that he thinks some people use them to smoke pot.
3. they found some pot on the property where this stuff is made.
4. he fell on the knife for his employees. from what I understand it was agreed upon that if he pled guilty they would not prosecute any of the people that worked for his company so he was a man and stepped up and took one for the team.
Saddam is loose, osama is loose, they say that there are possible as many as 50 terrorist cells activly working inside the US boarders but I'll sleep better tonight knowing tommy chong is off the streets.
