I crashed out at 10 am after working all night with Rush on the radio.. I just woke up, turned on my computer and found out he is taking a leave to handle pain killer addiction?

Fuck the news services I figured GFY would have the scoop, I scanned two pages of threads and didn't see one so fuck it I'm posting.

Good for him that he finally has come to the realization of a problem and may he be a better man for it. I knew something was wrong with him because for the past 4 or more years he was exhibiting the characteristics of an addict and it got worse each year. I knew something was up but now you see.

I'm blessed with never having to deal with chronic pain but I've seen the desperation of those who do and have. It's a gosh danged nightmare.

Hopefully when Rush recovers he'll be able to bring this problem to light via his program so that other sufferers can finally get sound attention.
