Where did they conduct this "poll"? In the bread line? Was it performed at a Mosque?
Polls. utterly useless. On both sides of the fence. I would trust a poll performed under the watchful eye of the administration as I would a poll done by Al Jazeera.
What is a good measure of public sentiment to me? The rise of suicides among active duty, the killing of American soldiers on a nearly daily basis. wait wait, save it, I can hear it already... those are foreign fighters killing our children. I know, the "polls" say Iraqis love us.
Send me to Iraq to conduct a poll, I bet I could find a sample that declared a burning hatred of the United States 98% of the time.

I have always stated that polls can be...and often are...manipulated...based upon the agenda of the polling org. It is important to know what specific questions were asked. Gallup...I believe...is one of the most reputable polling orgs and post all of the questions asked...the sample taken and the margin of error.
