Osama probably has it better than Saddam. People forget that Osama has access to $30 million of the bin Laden family money and they were still supporting him at the time 9/11 happened. Members of his family who are friendly with the Bush family, the Saudi royal family and pretty much all the other big families in the international crime syndicate we call a global economy were seen in videos with him 6 months before 9/11 happened.
The bin Laden family has the protection of the USA and and Osama has the protection of the bin Laden family. Plus, he's been on dialysis for quite some time. If he had just been cave hopping I doubt he'd have been able to stay alive so long.
Saddam, on the other hand is probably the one hiding in a cave somewhere. People forget that the muslim world(especially the terrorists) hate Saddam. Without his party he's nothing. He can't go hide with Al-Qaeda or anything like that because they all want to kill him for committing genocide against Shia Muslims.
