I'm bold, so here goes. I'm new here, but know someone you know very well.
You need a vacation, not another convention. A real vacation, where you put the mouse down and forget where you work. You're going to constipate yourself with worry about that which you have no control over. And yes, it just goes on and on and on, like so much garbage being burned there's always another one around the block.
I mean this with the best of intentions.
