I was listening to Bassdrive -- then my computer crashes

I reboot now my desktop settings are all gone -- all my bookmarks are gone... WTF? Any suggestions? My contact list on Trillian is still working thank God... and Winamp still works hehe... damn my speakers aren't even that powerful.
