Depends (as with any niche) on how you market it
I could send 1000 TGP hits to a site with a bunch of Pure Bear banners on it and make 1 sale or, i could send a bunch of filtered traffic to a site with a bunch of Quality Males banners on it and make 10 sales.
Sites only convert as well as your marketing skills regardless of the niche.
However, it really does pay to do a bit of research into the Gay Market niches before starting to promote them on their own
