The surfers still went through your tour so there is nothing misleading about this in my opinion.
If the advertisement was not very targetted or stale, then this should show in the conversion ratios, but it still seems that they bought into the tour and made a legitimate purchase so why would this webmaster be held accountable for low retentions?
Like I said, maybe I missed something here but it seems that the webmaster did nothing wrong to me.

Wiredguy, I guess it is nobodys fault - but the ad being used wasn't targeting the Amateur niche well and the traffic was going to an excellent Amateur site. When the ad isn't targeted well, it can still get sales and not keep members.
Many of these members were cancelling before the trial was over. They weren't finding what they were looking for.
What eden69 didn't tell you is that she is going to try the new ads I suggested at $25 per signup guaranteed and see if they perform any better. I suspect they will. And I'm putting our money on it
