Theory is good. I could use Amp as a case study.
Sutherland's Differential Association, Hirschi's Social Control Theory, Cloward and Ohlin's Differential Opportunity, the Integrated Processual Model of Labeling, Sykes and Matza's Techniques of Neutralization, Merton's Strain and Anomie, and Akers Social Learning Theory... I could apply them all to Amp. The bad part of learning too much theory, you dont see people as human, you see them as products. Or is that the good part?
I just had a midterm in this crap today so its fresh on the mind. In a month I will have sufficiently forgotten enough to garble it all together into one giant theory of how to be a jackass.
