Content Theft
It seems I can't turn around without seeing content theft on the Internet these days. Everyone seems to think that they can take any picture they find on the Internet and use their picture.
I've shut down three sites this week, and this doesn't include what I've passed over to our attorney.
One of them - a guy named Jeff - thought it was okay to sell my entire websites on CD ROM. It took a bit of effort to track him down, but when I found his phone number his mother answer. She was a bit surprised to find out he was pushing porn. (Damn college kids!)
Another site was using pictures from Lightspeed Sorority on it's tour - it's entire tour was composed of our pictures.
Today was the final straw. We found a local mag here in Phoenix using Jordan Capri's pictures.
Bullshit. I'm no longer firing off warning shots. From now on it goes straight to our attorney.
