you're forgetting an important element of the evolutionary process Donovan: Survival of the fittest. That which can't adapt, dies.
You're looking at this whole thing like, there's a bunch of evolution, then stop. okay, where are we now... where's the half this and the half that? It's not an excersize bike at the gym. It doesn't work like that. You can't pause the process like a Tivo and point to something proclaiming it's not evolving.
