I have yet to find where the 2% of GROSS is mentioned in a license... I heard it mentioned in various talk shows, articles, posts, etc.. but I can't seem to find it in this contract.

In anycase, 2% of GROSS may sound small, but remember after taking out expenses (affiliate payouts, hosting, bandwidth, overhead expenses, salaries) and then figuring in 2% of gross, you may find that it comes out to like 20% or more of your NET.

It can be a very significant chunk of your profits..and let's not forget other patent holders that come around next for video patent infringement claims as well.
