That's not a hijacking.

If you have a trademark, you can sue him, but if it's a generic name, there is nothing you can do.

If you own cars.com, someone else can register wwwcars.com legally.

If you own sony.com and someone registers wwwsony.com you can sue them.

It might be cheaper to offer to buy it from him for a low price.
