You'd think "terrorists" were some new phenomina - the labelling makes it easy to identify "them".
It takes very little looking back into history to see that it is not easy to defeat "terrorists" and I doubt many "terrorists" will consider it a "win" - they will be there for decades until there is some "communication". Then, hell, they end up sitting at tables "negotiating".
