If Brian did create innovative and novel ideas for web marketing, more power to him! Patents are a way to protect intellectual property.
My efforts and those of the proposed Fight the Patent Foundation are not anti-patent. Patent Abuse, to me, is where a patent that has been broadly interpreted beyond the original scope is used to force companies to license it. If prior art is found, then it's a bad patent, and therefore deserves to be invalidated.
If no prior art can be found, then it's a good patent...and the patent holder is entitled to the benefits of their invention.
Fight the Abuse!
