Don't know if the term "bevan" is solely Aussie or not but it basically referred to someone who wore tight black jeans, band t-shirt (metallica and guns n' roses being a popular choice) with a checked flannelette shirt over the top. Boy has that gone out of style now.

But seriously... I'm sure I heard somewhere that one of Pink Floyd's original names was Megadeath but I can't find anything on the net to back that up. Will have to ask my boyfriend later as he is a huge PF fan.
