Cliff Notes:

It sounds like someone bit off more than they could handle for the show... Someone did something to damage the hotel, and someone else got blamed for it.

It also sounds like someone number one, is blowing this whole thing way out of proportion to get attention.

Creative Spam? Maybe. Entertaining... Yes. Hypocrytical... Yes.

And "Someone number one" is not the thread starter.

I do agree that there should be a blacklist of some sort, but, be sure that the members of that list are not unjustly put on it. Make sure there is rock solid proof and wittnesses of the events that they are blacklisted for.

Conclusion:

We are all dirty pornographers, and rebels to begin with. Things happen at shows. It does not make them right, but it does not make YOU or I, the judge, jury and executioner when things do get out of hand. It is just part of the business. As Zebra said, "Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone.". Simple as that.

For every one of you pointing a finger, I can name at least one time where you were out of hand, or have at minimum heard stories about it.... true or not. I take it all with a grain of salt. Some people are known as "trouble makers" and ALWAYS get blamed for things they don't do. Yet, those same people who get blamed, ALWAYS admit when they DO do things. Others never get blamed for things they do.

So, what does this tell us? It says a few things that we should all think about. No matter what you think you know... Unless you were there and wittnessed it with your own eyes... Shut the fuck up, because you know shit. This includes everyone, from newbie to legend. Unless it's a planned business strategy... mind your own business, and make new business.

We are all in this together, and need to pull together as an industry, instead of canabalizing our own.

Keep the peace people.
