Yes thats true but its a bit quicker than letting them hit a default address.
The solution is tracking down where its coming from originally and finding out if you can track it down.
Your host isnt going to shut you down just because a few gfyers make false complaints, they know it isnt being sent from your servers. But it might be a good idea to contact them and ask them to help , thats what they are there for
