About that i saw someone who told, that the surfer boards, produce an underwater effect (Sounds and shape) making the sharks perceived it like it was a seal ... That why the often attack directely from under. I think they made some boards to reduce that effect.
Whether the sharks are getting wiser about it is another matter. Poor girl...at least it didn't bite her spirit.
