In all honesty, there have been 100 things that needed attention in the past few days, and this is number 101, so please forgive me if i haven't been on the ball in posting in this ridiculous thread. But to put the matter to bed, once and for all.. Wade Banks does not run my company, I do not support chargebacks, or this alleged scheme (chargebackporn.com). I told Ms. Growl that I would reimburse her for any loss, as I wanted the issue out of my face, and she persisted to waste my time and be a general annoyance. I don't condone Mr. Banks' behavior, which is why I offered to reimburse her, but she should really watch herself with this type of slander, as I don't take kindly to people speaking unjustifiably badly about myself or my firm, especially since I went out of my way to rectify the situation with her, even though it really didn't have anything to do with me... I sent her a check for $350 to cover it all..

Long version:

Ok, first, as far as who runs my business: I do. Mr. Banks is my office manager, managing staff - programmers, designers, etc. He is a salaried employee. So, her comment that "an employee who basically runs his company" is a crock of shit, and something she must have fabricated along with everything else, as I never said anything like that. But of course, her misquoting me is pretty much the only thing that gave her any sort of credibility with this thread (since she had the creativity to conjure things up, I mean), so I don't blame her grasping for straws. Some people have too much time on their hands to dwell on others. I can only assume it's because her business isn't as profitable and she's jealous, or needs something in her life to fill a void of uselessness. So, anyway, Mr. Banks basically does administrative tasks. So, to set the record straight I run my business, and do it very effectively, I can say, considering how much it grossed last year.

Next, me endorsing chargebackporn.com is a complete lie. When she told me her version of the story, I naturally didn't fly off the handle because I, in contrast to this woman, am capable of handling things in a professional manner. My reaction when she told me was one of contemplative surprise. Maybe she expects everyone to be irrate and irrational as her? She asked me how I felt about having someone work for me who would do something like this, and I said I couldn't really comment, and will have to talk to him about it. After I talked to him, she called me again, and expected me to tell her how I was handling the situation. How I handle my employees is really none of her business, and I don't see how she can expect me to take time out of my day to talk to someone who is of absolutely no consequence to me about what happens internally at my company. So, I told her that it concerned me, and that I would have to deal with it. I was calm about it all, whilst she was being dramatic.

I do not endorse chargebackporn.com. Firstly, it is a ridiculous idea. Completely on business grounds, it will not work. Mr. Banks does not have traffic, is incapable of getting traffic, and is incapable of running a website on his own. He has absolutely no resources at his disposal, and does not even know what gofuckyourself.com is, really. He only learned about it the other day when this woman threatened to post on here. Secondly, I do not support chargebacks, and would not associate myself with any business or concept that would promote them. They are an unfair and destructive aspect of the internet industry, and if they could be eliminated, we would all be better.

Nor do I support chargebacks in general, or anyone who charges back to something when they actually did it.

I am not admitting that Mr. Banks did the actual charges, but I did offer to reimburse this woman for anything that might have been charged back, simply because I wanted to avoid conflict. She declined this request. Then, she called me with the bank on the phone when I was very busy with something else to talk about this $300 or $700 or whatever. This was a complete waste of my time for two reasons. First, I had already offered to refund her the money, so I thought talking to the bank was a waste of time. Secondly, since we bring in more than $300 in the time it takes to talk to the bank, I figured it was actually losing money (opportunity cost) to deal with such a petty issue. It would have taken less time to get the accounting person to cut a check to this woman and be done with it. And on top of that, it wasn't really my problem, I was just trying to be nice. Then she started to talk rudely to me, which I wasn't going to have.

So, this woman posts false accusations on GFY about me because she is mad that I spoke rudely to her. I even was apologetic/nice in an email to her afterwards, which she posted on here. I am not quite sure how I am going to handle this but I just thought I would set everything straight on here. I'm not going to waste one more keystroke dealing with this on GFY, though... as I said at first, it's a load of crap.. the issue has nothing to do with me, and I got dragged into it just for trying to be nice and offer this woman compensation for something that wasn't even my responsibility.... so much for being nice to people.

Cleaning up the mess for a few bucks is very smart of you, the fact that tobin is older doesnt mean you have to listen to him.

I hope you talk to Tobin to make sure he takes care of the rest, becaue I know first hand the legal trouble she got a guy from AZ in for somethin like tobin pulled, the guy is now in Butner Federal Prison in NC. Money will only help so much.
