There are a lot of TRUE conservatives around (the original type that believe government should keep it's nose out of other people's business ala Barry Goldwater).
What you have now are called "neo-cons"..the NEW CONSERVATIVES which believe in controlling almost every facet of your life. That's why I find it funny when people say "You're a liberal" like it's a BAD thing! Liberals believe in LIBERTY! Hence the name!
