I think I got your point. I go much further back in time in my religion, before the Romans started the downfall of the Goddess, she was worshiped long before any male god( go back to 25,000bc) . Also...I don't believe that the underworld is as satanist belive, bad and scary or evil. The night and underworld have been taught to us as a scary thing, when evil and where evil happens, I highly disagree with that.
All the Godesses and Gods had their two sides, like night and day. One was not better or worse than the other and it all equals out.
I can see why one would decide to worship one God over an other and I feel like you are well versed in your opinion. No biggie....I'm different too
