I wash my dreadlocks every 3 days but many people think that dread locks are never wash. They are hopelessly ignorant about black hair.
Fact is white hair secrets more oil than black hair and that's why some people look greasy after a few days of not washing their hair. Black hair does not become very oily and that's why many blacks add oil to the hair to prevent breakage and dry scalp which can lead to dandruf. The lack of oil is also why black hair becomes dreaded fasted and harder than whites and that's why I wash my hair every three days to remove any oil and it makes my dreadlocks much tighter instead of looking frayed and unlocked. oily hair will not lock up into dreads very well and that's why whites with dreadlocks should wash their hair as much as possible and not believe the myth that washing dreadlocks is bad. That myth was probably started by someone like the author of this pethically ignorant post.
