At lunch this afternoon, a waitress showed me a trick I never knew before.
You know when you get a brand new bottle of ketchup and you tap it upside down and the ketchup doesn't budge, and you keep tapping it and still nothing happens?
OK the secret is not to tap it on the base. What you do is tap the spot where the numbers 57 are raised on the lower neck of the bottle. (On Heinz 57 Ketchup) Its a pressure point built into the bottle design and the minute you tap it, the ketchup comes flowing right out.
I know its stupid, but I'm surprised I never knew that one.
