I have read and I have concluded.
Lensman, pay the man. If it was your software glitches then that is what it is and the man is owed his fair worth. I program and I fuck up once in a while (long while). I know you can't be right all the time so shit happens. So be a man and handle it and say, hey bro, no need to make a federal case out of it, here, now be gone.
As for the wistle blower, good for you. But don't take it to far. You are in a close-nit industry and to point out a flaw is money in your pocket, to point out someone character flaws is nails in your coffin.
As Rodney King used to say, before going to jail again for beating his wife and kids and buying crack cocain and heroin, "Can't we all just get along?"
