My endocrinologist really supports me in this diet (I'm a type II diabetic) but told me to stay away from bacon. Besides the high fat concentration, it has..umm..my tired mind can't think of the scientific name for it..but "bad stuff" (haha) that's very bad for the body. Unless it's free range that is.

Hormel Black Label is always my favorite cut, followed by the organic free range. Hormel has always just been an excelent cut of bacon.
