amph, you got part of it right, detecting an unnaturally inflated overture frequency, but got the reason wrong. kali didn't bump the searches, the domains were expiring in december, and expiring domain hawks were querying the names. kali picked them up after they expired.
even so, not a bad set of names. i'd have grabbed a couple for $10 if i'd had the chance.
