i like watching football because to have success in the game you have to have a sound defense. especially in college/pro's because for the most part the offensives are made up of the best of the best atheletes that can be recruited/bought so the defenses have to be great or be crushed. look at the 2 teams that are playing for the super bowl, 2 defensive teams who basically did what they wanted to their opposing teams. i've played soccer, bball and soccer so i appreciate those 3 sports a lot but football is just more of a chess game to me.
p.s. i hate high scoring football games.
