Mr. Pheer could not speak truer words, the electoral college will spit on your individual vote as long as it still remains the active system.

Also, as an "independent", I can say there are a number of things Bush screwed up big time. It's good to argue points such as... was the president's justification for going to war misleading, but it's simply ignorant to bring up issues which don't make sense such as saying saying the economy is not surging, or why did we liberate Iraq. Crawl out from that rock, look at the stock markets/national economic indexes, and the millions of iraqis who are blessed with freedom (vs. the few extremist protestors).

I'm still undecided as to who gets my vote. I just think it's sad that a lot of democrats are becoming extreme left, and the republicans are capturing the centrist voter block without even really appealing to them. The democrats have to get back to the normal/center ideologies to be considered a serious party anymore. Also, if Howard Dean becomes president, something tells me that trying to "negotiate" with terrorists will make 9/11 look lik a shadow in comparison to what the murderers cook up next. This is world war 3, and few seem to realize it.
