I personally think books are the best to learn with. You just sit in the drivers seat and do what the book tells you. Tutorials are also good, free, and all over the internet.
It's all downhill after that.

When I graduated with my Masters I made a promise to myself to NEVER read another book again..
ITs a promise I plan to keep..
