Beers on average (not including light beers) contain between 150-200 calories and 10-20 grams of carbs per 12 oz. Now lets say you want to get shitfaced on a Saturday night. Let's just say 8 beers for the evening (and I know a good majority of you drink more than that).

That's between 1200 and 1600 calories and 80-160 grams of carbs. That will make you fat. Especially if you do it more than once a month. I know people who do it 3 times per week.
