Honesty is the most important part to a relationship.
Im poly. I have a poly family, consisting of a girl that I sleep with and her husband that I dont sleep with. I date other guys and girls, they know about everything.
I dont think that there is one guy or girl out there for me. I envision a close family type unit of a few people, with occasional diversions. I dont think that sex outside of the relationship hurts a solid relationship.
Definatly, dont get into swinging or outside relationships if yours is on the rocks. I have found that open couples tend to have more solid relationships, because they are completly honest with each other. The lack of honesty leads to many more problems than sleeping with other people.
