In the two years I've been selling on the net it has changed a lot. When I came here there were shooters telling me that what the surfers wanted was the crap they shot, not my "Glossy magazine" style. Some of those guys are no longer with us.
It's not only that the surfer is more educated of his rights, he is also more educated at what can be bought for his $35 a month.
The attitude 2 years ago was that he was a fool who could be conned into buying anything and so long as you threw enough traffic at it you would make money.
That has changed. He's been a member of how many sites before he signed up to this one? He knows what can be produced and is not going to accept being conned by someone who does not respect him.
The death of pop ups is a good thing not a bad thing, for every sign up gained by them how many were put off surfing the net because of them? Hopefully the porn spammer will go the same way.
Those with respect, integrity and talent will weather the storm and prosper. Those with out can start flipping burgers.
The porn consumer has learnt the benefits of buying porn over the Internet, all we have to do is serve him better to keep him.
