It was nothing more then a publicity stunt. Just like the Madonna Britney kiss or the Michael Jackson hanging the kid over the balcony stunt. Here is the formula for those of you who care to know.
1. Find a washed up pop icon.
2. Draw in viewers for the publicity stunt
3. Have the washed up pop icon do something so shocking that it makes the news, the public talks about it for weeks on end and attention is now focused on your client like it was in their hay day.
It is shock tv much like shock radio and the only point to it is to have you talk about the stunt with the hopes of revitalizing that clients career!
