I grew up around the Native American culture living close to an Indian reservation. Ive had a lot of Native American friends over the years and I do know they take there ceremonies very serious. I once had the honor of sitting in on a ceremony that very few "white" people have seen before. Its pretty powerful stuff.
That being said I can understand if Outkast was mocking one of there ceremonies directly, but that article spoke in general. Sounds like a bunch of bullshit. Someone always has to bitch about something nowdays. I will have to see what some of my Native American friends have to say but I bet they say that article is all bullshit as well.
