In the 70's there was the worry that we might enter a new ice age ... the idea was .. all the pollutants in the air would reflect sunlight back into space.
Then, of course, in the 80's, everyone swings the other way with "OK, we're warming up .. "
NOW, there are people working in the Arctic analyzing climatic changes from ice cores saying that in the past there have been massive -- and they kinda say FREAKISH, weather changes in very short periods of time. Imagine suddenly that it snows all winter long next year in Florida.
Must of us accept the evidence that there was an Ice Age 10k years ago.
What I gather from all this is:
1. Climate does change dramatically.
2. We're no good at saying when or in which direction it will go.
3. You should FUCKING move to a warmer place!
