Last night, the family went out to the local cajun cafe (my first time there but for evrybody else it was their second). We ordereed a plate of alligator meat that was cooked two different ways: fried & blackened. I was surprise to find that it tasted to like stringy chewy chicken (kind of like Chicken McNuggets if they were in the refrigerator for a week).
Anyway, it was a nice treat to be able to eat cajun-style shrimp. Unfortunately, they didn't have any lobster but the crawfish gumbo was good.
