I'm moving to LA (Venice) in two weeks...! It's not cheap, but if you really look you can find a nice place to rent for 1200/month.
Yeah we make the same $ anywhere, so why live in a place like NY or San Francisco... I can't wait until we have high bandwidth wireless internet that we can take overseas... I will be on the beach in Brazil or on some fucking island w/ my laptop... It's only a matter of time before the technology is there and we will be free -- you can probably already do a lot w/ the right satellite setup... This two-way satellite stuff is pretty exciting, but so far there's not any easy way to bring the dish w/ you on a trip...
